Bob Spink? He's not one of us

The media, and BBC in particular, have today been reporting that Bob Spink MP represents UKIP in Westminster. This is not the case.
Mr Spink, the MP for Castle Point, sits as an Independent MP in the House of Commons. The BBC wrongly acredited Mr Spink as a UKIP MP while reporting his support for Michael Martin, the Speaker who today announced he will be standing down in the wake of the MP expenses scandal.
