Godfrey back in for Yorshire & The Humber
Sunday, 7th June 2009
Popular UKIP MEP for Yorkshire & The Humber, Godfrey Bloom, has been returned for another term, building on his 2004 vote.
UKIP took 17% of the vote, up 3%, to come in third place behind the Conservatives with 25% – no change from 2004 – and Labour with 19%, down a massive 8% from last time.
Aside from the Tories, who took two seats in total, Labour and UKIP, it was the Lib Dems and BNP who took the remainder.
