Greenpeace attacks on BP 'criminal'
Tuesday, 27th July 2010
Greenpeace activists who vandalised BP garages across London, forcing them to close for saftey reasons, should face criminal charges, according to UKIP.
"The behaviour of Greenpeace this morning, as on so many other mornings is a running sore. Their attacks on BP garages are clear and present criminal acts against a major company, and will have disrupted the activities of hundreds if not thousands of people just peacefully getting on with their daily lives, whether working or not." said UKIP MEP Godfrey Bloom.
"The vandalism and theft of items from BP forecourts should be prosecuted with the full force of the law. Cannot Greenpeace itself be held corporately responsible for these acts, along with their low life activists, who seem to think that if people do not do as Greenpeace want they should be harried and hassled in the legal pursuit of their business?".
