Eurocrats on another planet: Bloom

UKIP MEP Godfrey Bloom has accused Eurocrats of living on another solar system after revelations that the number of senior officials earning up to £180,000 rose to 100 at the same time as national public sector budgets were being slashed.
“This is further evidence that the eurocrats live in a different solar system to the rest of us," said the UKIP MEP for Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
"The taxpayer lives on the planet 'austerity’, the eurocrat circles on one of the moons of the great gas giant, 'waste’.”
