Titford welcomes leadership race
Tuesday, 7th September 2010
UKIP interim Leader Jeffrey Titford has welcomed the opening of nominations as the Party begins the process of finding a new figurehead.
“I am certain that the campaign will be keenly fought and in a spirit of friendly rivalry," Mr Titford, himself a former Leader, said.
"We all believe in the future success of UKIP and what it stands for, so we should keep that in mind.
"I wish all the candidates who take part in the final ballot the best of luck and I look forward to working with whoever is elected to be our new Party Leader.”
