Four line up in Leader's race
Monday, 27th September 2010
After weeks of speculation, the final four contenders have been announced for the vacant UKIP Leadership.
They are former Leader Nigel Farage MEP, Party joint Deputy Leader and Head of Policy David Campbell Bannerman MEP, leading economist Tim Congdon and Winston McKenzie.
Ballot papers will be sent to the full UKIP membership shortly and the voting will close on November 4, with the count and announcement of new Leader on November 5.
Though it might look like the final nominee list is settled, even now the candidates have the chance to withdraw from the race by October 1.
