Bloom: Euro was always doomed to failure

UKIP’s City Spokesman Godfrey Bloom this week used his seat in the European Parliament to remind EU leaders that they are the architects of their own financial downfall.
Mr Bloom, MEP for Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, denounced the EU for allowing unstable and dangerous economies such as Greece to join the Euro and then allowing central banks to repackage Greek debt and sell it on.
“The common currency experiment was doomed to failure,” he said.
