TG_Graham_Snell.jpg-pwrt3.jpgIn a night of real election drama, UKIP missed out on becoming the largest party on Thurrock Council by just one vote.

The final result from the Little Thurrock Blackshots ward was finally awarded to the Conservatives after three recounts.

As the election results unfolded in Purfleet, UKIP took four seats from Labour, one from the Tories and one from an independent to leave us and the Conservatives with 17 seats each and Labour with 14.
