UKIP Mayor of Ramsey opens Italian Market

Lisa Duffy, the UKIP Mayor of Ramsey said that she was very proud to be opening the Italian Market in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire. Welcoming shoppers and encouraging them to find out about different items - all in the beautiful (almost fluent) Italian language.
Mayor Cllr Lisa Duffy said after the event "Ramsey is a beautiful fenland market town with not just an excellent high street shopping environment to brows but it also has a magical array of historic sites to visit, from the Abbey Ruins and walled garden to our rural museum and fenland light railway. The town does have a regular country market, but very much welcome the excitement of the Italian Market coming here. We are glad to celebrate the Italian culture and to be able to buy authentic Italian foods here in Ramsey."
