Future Euro Commission President Juncker faces grilling by UKIP

Soon-to-be European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker faced the scrutiny of the UKIP's MEPs in the European Parliament on Wednesday, with questions over Scotland, immigration and democracy in Europe.

The former Prime Minister of Luxembourg, whose appointment by the European Council was opposed by UK Prime Minister David Cameron on the grounds of his championing of deeper EU integration, set out his stall and proved his Federalist credentials.

Mr Juncker's appointment to his new post will be rubber-stamped by Parliament next week.

Here you can see how he was received at his meeting with UKIP and their fellow members of the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy group in the European Parliament.
