Medway Councillor joins UKIP

IMG_20141003_171745.jpgCouncillor Peter Rodberg has today left the Conservative Party and joined UKIP.

His decision was based on the Conservative Council letting down the local residents of Medway. He fully opposes the decision to build 5,000 houses on Lodge Hill Bird Sanctuary. He wants to fight this for local residents and that means joining UKIP to do this.

Mark Reckless said: "I was delighted to introduce Councillor Rodberg to Nigel Farage on our visit to Dr Juneja's GP surgery in Strood earlier today. It's great news that he has come over to UKIP to stand up for his residents and help fight Lodge Hill."
