Is Scottish Legal System Denying Democratic Rights of a Candidate
Thursday, 29th April 2010
Robert Green, SACL (justice4hollie) candidate for Aberdeen South, recently wrote to the sheriff's court in Aberdeen and asked for an amendment of his very restrictive bail conditions.
He currently is bound to report to Warrington police station three days a week to have to sign in with the police. - A highly unfair condition (considering the simple charge of breach of the peace) restricting him, his liberty and his freedom of movement.
He requested this amendment to be considered in order to allow him to raise awareness to further his campaign, as he is a candidate standing for election in Aberdeen South.
Just today - Robert has received a notice to appear at Stonehaven's sheriff's court in Aberdeen, in camera (without anyone else present) for this coming Friday 30th of April.
At this point - there has been no indication of the reason for this closed hearing.
it is not yet know is this is to discuss further his application or indeed if it is to charge him with another breaking of his bail conditions or the original charge of 'Breach of the Peace'
At this point I do not have any further information - but it appears that, yet again - as the election is drawing near - and his potential threat to this election increases, that he is once more, being restricted and imposed upon by Grampian Police.
A human rights lawyer from England is being appointed - This will be very expensive - but at the moment - my understanding is that he is being told to appear alone -
This, ladies and gentlemen - is PERFECTLY LEGAL IN SCOTLAND!
