UKIP More than Double their vote.

Saturday, 7th May 2011

The SNP were not the only winners in Scotland after the voting was counted on Friday.  UKIP’s voting figures showed the next largest increase when they more than doubled their vote from the previous Scottish elections in 2007. Both the Glasgow and the Highlands & Islands Regions got over two and a half time more votes than last time.

Well done to the three individual candidates, Donald Gatt, (Moray) Mike Scott-Hayward (North East Fife) and Ross Durance (Inverness & Nairn), all the Regional Candidates and all the members, supporters and voters who helped us move forward.
