From Graham (Wirral)Government ministers are claiming thousands of lives have been saved by the ban, yet not one death certificate has ever been issued naming smoking as the cause of death.
If you die of cancer, it's "because of smoking" (it probably is if you smoke yourself).
If you are a non-smoker, then it must be "because you were exposed to passive smoking".
If you die of cancer and have not been exposed then .....errrrr!
When was the last time you heard of a smoker going out and kicking someone's head in or picking a fight because he was under the influence of smoke?
So, what does the government do? It bans smoking and allows 24-hour drinking.
You couldn't make it up!
