With reference to a published letter (Herald Nov 20) from David Tomlinson showing complete dissatisfaction of his former Conservative Party, I offer him a place within the UK Independence Party Eastbourne Branch. I worked under Mr Tomlinson for a number of years in the 1980's when I was a police officer at Brighton Police Station and know him to be a man of integrity, sound judgement and a very astute individual. The UK Independence Party is the prefered route for disillusioned and dissatified Conservatives, although we are attracting interest from all persuasions, and we have many members from all sides.
