Published May 15, 2015

A map created for The Independent shows the scale of UKIP's gains in the recent General Election - each constituency is coloured for the party that increased its vote share the most in it. You can click the image to see a larger version.

The map shows UKIP increased its vote share by more than any other other party in 469 constituencies across the UK.

Another map produced for the same paper shows how UKIP support is growing in every constituency but two.

The results of the elections saw a rise in voteshare in 622 of the 624 seats we contested, and increased support in all contested constituencies in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
